COMMAND VEHICLE: The MINIPUMPER (R-1) shall function as an initial-attack pumper
until the arrival of the second due engine whereupon it will function as
the COMMAND POST and SUPPORT VEHICLE.
The Officer of the Command Vehicle shall institute the INCIDENT COMMAND
SYSTEM.

The SECOND DUE ENGINE shall generally provide manpower for "ENGINE
COMPANY OPERATIONS" (attack line and primary search). It shall
provide the PRIMARY WATER SUPPLY from the closest hydrant.

The THIRD-DUE ENGINE shall generally provide manpower for "TRUCK
COMPANY OPERATIONS" (ventilation, laddering, opening concealed
spaces for the hose team, secondary search, and salvage). It may provide
a secondary water supply from
a hydrant, if necessary.
