By
1872, Willow Road had been laid out between Carterette Road and the road
to Snedens Landing. The road was laid out along the northern boundary of
the Samuel Beasley property, formerly the 2nd
Jacob
Conklin property. Considering the lay of the land, there likely had been
a track between the 2nd
Jacob Conklin property and the property to the north, briefly owned by
Daniel Haring. The property lines adjoining Willow Road ran to the
center of the road.
