2-02 The Fire Agreement wit Northvale Fire Association ceased. 5-03 The Council formed a Committee to be on the lookout for property in the Borough for municipal use. 7-07 Property available for the Borough, 15 acres, $33,000.00. 8-02 Rockleigh Volunteer Fire Department organized and incorporated and requested that they be recognized as the official Borough fire fighters. Resolution made giving financial aid to purchase a Mack fire truck and equipment from the Ridgefield Park Fire Co. for $200.00. Truck being housed free in a garage on the Talman estate. 8-29 Taxi service for the transportation of school students from Rockleigh started by Mr. Herman Happel. 9-06 Property available for the Borough, 6 acres, $12,000.00 cash! 12-06 Hackensack Water Company estimated that 19,203 feet of pipe would be needed to supply water to the Borough at a cost of $34,324,00. The Company would require revenue annually of $5,600/00. The Council stated that the expenditure would not be warranted at this time.

Located on Piermont Road 1000 feet north of Willow Road. 7-22 Application made through the Emergency Relief Administration to prepare a Tax Map of teh Borough for an estimated cost of $404.00. 10-01 The Council instructed the Clerk to write Congressman Kenney to see what can be done about obtaining mail delivery service in the Borough. 12-03 Complaint made to the Council of the noise from the "Trap Shooting" on Sundays in the Borough.
