The Council formed a Committee to be on the lookout for property in the
Borough for municipal use.

Rockleigh Volunteer Fire Department organized and incorporated and
requested that they be recognized as the official Borough fire fighters. Resolution
made giving financial aid to purchase a Mack fire truck and equipment from
the Ridgefield Park Fire Co. for $200.00. Truck being housed free in a
garage on the Talman estate.

Taxi service for the transportation of school students from Rockleigh

Property available for the Borough, 6 acres, $12,000.00 cash!

Hackensack Water Company estimated that 19,203 feet of pipe would be
needed to supply water to the Borough at a cost of $34,324,00. The Company
would require revenue annually of $5,600/00. The Council stated that the
expenditure would not be warranted at this time.
